Ducati receives approval from the Emilia-Romagna Region to access the Development Contract presented to the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy.

Ducati has presented a strategic investment plan for the period 2025-2029 , aimed at consolidating and further strengthening its leading role in the international motorcycling scene . 

The plan focuses on significant investment in research and development , introducing innovative and sustainable technologies and expanding the product range to respond to market developments and reach new enthusiast segments. Also significant is the expansion of production capacity at the Borgo Panigale plant through the reorganization and optimization of production spaces. This technological and industrial investment is also expected to have a positive impact on employment.

The Borgo Panigale motorcycle manufacturer’s investment plan has been submitted to the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy and received a favorable opinion from the Emilia-Romagna Region. Following the project’s presentation to the Regional Vice President for Economic Development, Vincenzo Colla , the proposal was deemed consistent with regional planning. This is a crucial step, allowing the next phase of the application to begin with Invitalia , the agency responsible for managing the procedure on behalf of the Ministry.
